event2mobile recently completed Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2) examination under AT Section 101, Attest Engagements (AICPA, Professional Standards) for the period June 1, 2015 through January 15, 2016. The Audit was performed by an independent auditing firm.
Completion of the SOC 2 Type II examination indicates that selected event2mobile processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and tested by a certified accounting and auditing firm. The examination includes evaluation of controls of event2mobile in line with Trust Services Principles and Criteria of Security and Confidentiality.
An SOC 2 examination is performed in accordance with AT Section 101, Attest Engagements (AICPA, Professional Standards). SOC 2 is designated as an acceptable method for a user entity’s management to obtain assurance about service organization’s internal controls over Security and Confidentiality without conducting additional assessments.
