A Mobile Event App & A Brand New Real Estate Website… A Busy Fortnight Indeed!

The first half of September saw us working on two different projects simultaneously. And we completed both of these projects with equal success. First we helped ASME, a leading global organization of engineers, to mobilize their events. For this, we used our Event2Mobile platform. Then we created a brand new website for Altair, an upcoming real estate project in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka.

First let’s talk about ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). This premiere non-profit organization, headquartered in New York, strives to enable collaborations, sharing of knowledge, provides career enrichment opportunities to engineers, besides working to improve skill development practices in the global engineering sector. ASME regularly stages seminars and engineering conferences, in a bid to develop the global engineering community. ASME wanted to mobilize their events, and thus had us working on the project. We developed unique mobile applications for ASME’s events using our Event2Mobile framework. The iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android versions are already deployed and are available in the respective app markets, while the versions for iPad and Android tablet are underway.

With this done, we moved our focus towards developing a great site for Altair. One of Sri Lanka’s largest private sector projects, the majestic Altair will be built by the Indocean Developers Private Limited, a venture of the famed South City Group. After proving its mettle in India, the South City Group has started working on this Colombo venture, which will also mark the real estate giant’s flourishing presence beyond the borders. The 68-storey upmarket condominium will be the tallest in Colombo. The South City Group wanted us to create an exclusive website, so that clients are able to get a first-hand idea about this huge project. The site will welcome visitors with pictures of the upcoming monumental structure and help them familiarize with the different features of this man-made wonder.
